The Highland Public Library is celebrating Library Card Month with  two short webinars demonstrating the benefits available with a library card. Community members can sign up for a FREE library card without leaving the comforts of home. The digital card will provide you with access to all the library’s digital resources.  The library is presenting two webinars this month:

Learn to use Libby in 15 Minutes: Learn how to borrow ebooks, audiobooks & thousands of magazines free with your library card. This webinar will be held on Thursday, 9/16 from 7-7:30pm.

Libby is a free app where you can borrow ebooks, digital audiobooks, and magazines from your public library. You can stream titles with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is a library card.

We’re More Than Just Books:  Join us for a short overview of our digital services. We’re more than just library books, and we think you’ll be surprised.  Learn about all the services your library has to offer free with a library card. There are many services available for use without leaving the comfort of your home. Learn how to watch movies, take courses, listen to music, listen to audiobooks, read ebooks, learn a language and more.  This webinar will be held on Thursday, 9/23 from 7-7:45pm.
