Costume Swap This October

It’s that time of year again where we start thinking about Halloween costumes. Instead of buying a brand new costume, have you considered participating in a costume swap? A costume swap is a great way to save money, reduce waste, and have fun.

The concept is simple – our community of patrons donates their costumes to the library and during Costume Swap Week anyone can come in and take a costume. Not only will you save money by not having to purchase a new costume, but you’ll also be reducing waste by reusing costumes that would otherwise end up in the landfill.

It’s important that all costumes are in good condition, clean, and appropriate for all ages. So, instead of spending money on a brand new costume this Halloween, consider participating in a costume swap. It’s a win-win for your wallet and the environment!
