Accessibility

The Highland Public Library strives to ensure that everyone in our community is welcome and has access to library information, services, and programs that we offer.

There is ample parking and the building is wheel-chair accessible.

Vision impaired patrons can use our assistive listening system through Audio Frequency Induction Loop Systems (AFILS) aka Hearing Loops.

Library for All Program

Library for All is a monthly, interactive program that welcomes adults with disabilities to make crafts, create art, play games and explore the library. Each program is tailored to the audience’s unique interests and ability levels. The programs encourage the creative spirit, and each participant has the opportunity to make and take something. If you are interested in learning more about the Library for All program or ways to partner with the library, please contact Lisa Gill at 845-691-2275 x 204.
