The Highland Public Library App stores a digital copy of your library card. If you have your phone with you regularly—and who doesn’t, you have your library card with you. This comes in handy when you use digital media apps that require you to sign in with your library card or you need to check out library items.
2. Manage Your Library Account Anytime, Anywhere
Always know the status of your library account. You can track your holds, checkouts and due dates.
3. Search the Catalog and Program Calendar
Library card holders can search the library system’s collection of books, movies, TV, audio books, magazines and more. One cool feature of the library app is the barcode scanner. If you are browsing the local bookshop, you can quickly scan a barcode to see if the book is available in the collection. Why not put that money back in your pocket? Just another benefit of being a library card holder.

4. Use the Download Library
Access the digital download web pages to browse or borrow digital and audio books all from one location. Links include OverDrive, Hoopla, Mango Languages, Universal Class and Kanopy. In most cases you can read, watch and download directly from your digital device.
5. Contact Us
Contact us directly from the library app. You can place a call or email us, and check the most recent hours to avoid wasted trips.
