Can't get to the library or know someone with limited mobility?
The Highland Public Library is proud to announce that we provide a home delivery service. There will be no charge for this service. We are trying to reach out to people who can’t visit the library as often as they would like.
Who is eligible?
Seniors aged 55+, disabled or homebound living in the Highland School district and the Clintondale area you are eligible for this service. we would be glad to deliver library materials to you. No library card? No problem, we can bring one to you.
The Highland Public Library offers a mobile library to the nursing homes within our school district. Currently we are woking with the Hudson Valley Rehab and Residence as well as Wingate at Ulster Communities. We offer bi-monthly visits with large print material and sound recordings for patron use. Each institute maintains a single library card which provides the with MidHudson Library System access.
